Abstract
|
|
|
Syndactyly is one of the most common congenital anomalies of the hand. It has been known that it is transmitted as an autosomal dominant and causes many cosmetic, psychotic and functional difficulties in patients. Many authors have reported different surgical methods. We used Marumo’s method and obtained following results.
1. Improvement of cosmetic effect.
2. Preservation of sensation.
3. Preservation of web space contracture.
4. Reduction of skin graft size.
In this paper, authors report Marumo’s method with a brief review of it.
